On the night of 5 October 2024, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with three X-59/69 guided missiles and 13 Shahed attack drones. This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Missiles and drones were launched from the Kursk Region and the occupied Crimea.
In total, 3 Russian UAVs were shot down in Odesa Region. 10 drones were lost in the north and south of the country, with no information on casualties or damage.
In addition, due to active countermeasures by electronic warfare systems, guided missiles did not reach their targets.
