Previously, the day of appearance at the call of a reservist or person liable for military service was determined no earlier than the 14th day from the date of sending the summons.

The Cabinet of Ministers has reduced the time limit for a reservist or person liable for military service to report to a territorial recruitment and social support centre by post from 14 to 7-10 days, Interfax-Ukraine reports

According to the Procedure for the Conscription of Citizens for Military Service during Mobilisation and for a Special Period, a call-up notice for a reservist or person liable for military service to a district (city) territorial recruitment and social support centre, its department or to the relevant unit of the intelligence agencies, the Central Department or regional bodies of the Security Service of Ukraine is sent to the addressee within 48 hours after the notice is signed by the relevant head.

Furthermore, according to Government Resolution No. 1134 of 1 October, the day of appearance upon summons of a reservist or person liable for military service from a settlement that is the administrative centre of a region is determined within seven days, and from other settlements - within ten days from the date of sending the summons by registered mail with an inventory of the attachments and a notice of delivery.
