Recruitment to the Ukrainian Legion has been opened in Lublin, Poland. Ukrainian volunteers can join it.
A military medical commission is working on site. The defenders will be trained at a training ground provided by the Polish side, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence said.
‘Ukraine provides uniforms and logistical support, Poland provides weapons and equipment,’ the statement said.
Volunteers will have to sign an agreement, undergo 35 days of training at a training ground, and then improve their skills at NATO bases in Europe.
Applications can be submitted via the official website legion.army.gov.ua or at Ukrainian consulates and embassies.
