On the night of 8 October, the Russian army attacked with two ballistic missiles and 19 Shahed drones.
‘The enemy launched the Iskander-M at Odesa Region from the territory of Crimea. And the drones were fired from its territory, from Prymorsko-Akhtarsk, the Air Force reported in Telegram.
The defenders shot down 18 drones, and another flew to Russia.
‘As a result of the anti-aircraft battle, all enemy drones were eliminated in Odesa, Mykolayiv, Dnipro, Vinnytsya and Ternopil Regions: 18 were shot down by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, mobile firing groups and electronic warfare of the Ukrainian Defence Forces, and another attack UAV returned to Russia!’ the statement said.
