This morning, Russian troops conducted an air strike on Kherson, dropping four guided bombs on the city, the head of the regional military administration Oleksandr Prokudin has reported.
The bombs hit a previously destroyed school and residential buildings in the Central district.
Currently, 20 people are known to have been injured. Among the victims are two children. A 2-year-old boy and a 4-year-old girl were taken to hospital with explosive injuries and shrapnel wounds to their legs. They are in stable condition.
"Fourteen more people are currently receiving the necessary medical care in the hospital: six men and eight women," said the head of the RMA.
One victim, an elderly woman, was treated by an ambulance crew on the spot.
A 63-year-old man also sustained blast injuries and contusion. The victim is currently in hospital.
14 apartment buildings, two kindergartens, two private houses, a school, and three cars were damaged.
