Russians attacked Mykolayiv at night using drones. Five civilians were killed.
This was reported by the mayor of the city, Oleksandr Senkevych, and the head of the Region, Vitaliy Kim. The State Emergency Service showed the consequences of the strikes.
"Night attack on the city. Russians killed 5 civilians in Mykolayiv. My condolences to the families and friends of the victims," Senkevych wrote in a telegram.
At 06:34, Kim said that the search and rescue operation was completed.
According to the police, a 45-year-old woman was injured in the attack and hospitalised. 22 people sought psychological help on the spot.
Fires broke out in a high-rise building and a private house, which were quickly extinguished. One private house was destroyed, several were damaged. Two cars were destroyed. The blast wave damaged apartments and four shops, caused a break in the heating network, and cut off heat and gas supply.
