On the night of 20 November, starting at 19:30, the Russian army fired an S-300 anti-aircraft guided missile at Ukraine (from the Belgorod region to Kharkiv region), five X-59/69 guided missiles (in the Dnipropetrovsk, Chernihiv and Sumy Regions). Russians also attacked with guided aerial bombs and launched 122 Shahed attack UAVs and unidentified drones.
As of 11 a.m., two X-59/69 guided missiles and 56 Russian UAVs were confirmed downed in Kyiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Poltava, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyy, Sumy, Mykolayiv, Kherson, Zaporizhzhya, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Kharkiv Regions. This was reported by the Air Force.
"The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defence Forces of Ukraine," the statement said.
As a result of active countermeasures, 58 enemy UAVs were lost in different Regions. Six drones left Ukrainian airspace: five to Russian territory and one to Belarusian territory.
