
At approximately 23:20 on Monday, Russian forces attacked Hlukhiv in the Sumy Region using Shahed drones. One of the drones struck a dormitory, causing casualties.
The State Emergency Service reported that, as of 13:26 a.m., the death toll had risen to 12 (one child). Eleven people were injured, including two children. The dormitory building sustained partial destruction.


Among the dead was an eight-year-old boy, according to the Prosecutor General’s Office.
“Under the procedural supervision of the Sumy Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into violations of the laws and customs of war that resulted in civilian deaths (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine),” the Prosecutor General’s Office stated.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported a different death toll, stating that seven people had died.
