The US permission to strike Russia with Western long-range weapons does not apply to the entire Russian territory. This was stated by MP Oleksandra Ustinova in an interview with the Adult View programme.
According to her, this permit does apply to the Kursk Region. The parliamentarian also said that this permission was expected at the beginning of the Kursk operation.
But the US presidential administration feared that this would affect the election.
"We expected this decision, so to speak, much earlier," the MP said.
Ustinova also said that Ukraine had given the US a list of military targets it was going to strike some time ago.
"With clear arguments as to why this target is needed," the MP added.
The list was presented by Defence Minister Rustem Umerov and the head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak.
Ustinova also noted that all 500 ATCAMS missiles that the United States produces annually are for sale. The US army does not buy them for itself. Therefore, Ukraine will ask to be given priority in receiving such missiles.
