As part of a large-scale missile attack on 13 December, the enemy attacked energy facilities in Lviv Region.
This was announced by the head of the Regional Military Administration Maksym Kozytskyy.
‘The enemy attacked the energy facilities of our region! Fortunately, as of this moment, there is no information about the victims,' Kozytskyy wrote.
However, as the head of the Regional Military Administration of Electricity noted, due to the shelling, there will be changes in the schedules of power outages.
Updated. Later, Kozytskyy said that during this morning's attack, the enemy attacked 6 critical energy infrastructure facilities.
As of this moment, the fires caused by the attack have been extinguished. Rescuers and law enforcement officers are working at the scene.
There were no casualties.
Due to the enemy's attack on the power system, Ukrenergo's dispatcher introduced hourly outage schedules.
On Friday morning, the Russian army launched another missile attack. Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko said that Ukraine's energy sector had once again come under a massive Russian attack. In total, the air defence system shot down 81 of the 94 missiles fired by Russia.
