The United Kingdom has announced a new military aid package for Ukraine worth £225 million, or about $286 million.
According to Reuters, UK Defence Secretary John Healey said that the supplies will be used to strengthen Ukraine's Navy, air defence forces and fight Russian drones.
- 92 million pounds is the cost of small boats, reconnaissance drones, unmanned vessels and mine countermeasures for the Navy.
- 68 million was spent on radars, electronic drone countermeasures and ground decoy equipment for the air defence forces.
- 39 million pounds were used to provide the Armed Forces with anti-drone systems and protective equipment, including respirators.
- 26 million was spent on maintenance and spare parts for equipment previously provided to Ukraine.
