President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived in Brussels to hold talks with partners and attend a meeting of the European Council.
He announced this in a Telegram.
‘Important talks with our European partners are ahead. Europe needs a strong position for a lasting peace. And every fundamental issue that concerns Europe - and the end of Russia's war against Ukraine is certainly such an issue - requires coordinated and effective work of European countries,’ he wrote.
The Head of State noted that the visit would include meetings with the leaders and heads of government of France, Germany, Italy, Denmark, the Netherlands, Poland, the Czech Republic, the NATO Secretary General, the President of the European Council and the President of the European Commission, as well as representatives of the UK and other countries.
‘I will take part in the European Council meeting. We are strengthening Ukraine and our entire Europe. I am grateful to everyone who helps,’ Zelenskyy added.
