The United States will provide Ukraine with $15 billion secured by future income from frozen Russian assets.
This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
"The relevant agreement was signed by the Ukrainian Ministry of Finance and the World Bank. These will be funds under the PEACE in Ukraine project and part of the US contribution of $20 billion under the G7 initiative, which will be used for social and humanitarian spending," he wrote on Telegram.
The prime minister thanked the United States and the World Bank for implementing and supporting the initiative, which "makes Russia pay for its aggression against Ukraine."
