A Russian drone strike destroyed a power facility in the city, leaving over 20,000 customers without electricity, including critical infrastructure such as boiler houses, healthcare institutions, and social services. Ivan Fedorov, head of the regional power company, reported the incident.

The overnight alert lasted over six hours. In the morning, Russians fired four ballistic missiles, which struck Zaporizhzhya within minutes of the air raid alert.

The attacks injured 45 people, including a two-month-old baby. Ten people remain in moderate condition. Rescuers and power engineers working to address the aftermath of the drone strike were also injured.

Currently, over 20,000 customers are without electricity, and 17,000 are without heating. Emergency services and volunteers are actively working to repair the damage and assist those affected.
