The European Union will continue to provide financial assistance to Ukraine in 2025.
This was announced by Vice President of the European Commission, European Commissioner for Trade Valdis Dombrovskis.
‘The EU is providing financial support through the G7 ERA and Ukraine Facility in the amount of EUR 35 billion for 2025,’ Dombrovskis wrote.
He made the statement after a meeting in Davos with Ukraine's First Vice Prime Minister Yuliya Svyrydenko.
During the meeting, Dombrovskis and Svyrydenko also discussed enlargement and steps to bring Ukraine closer to the EU single market.
- Earlier, the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine reported that in 2025, the European Union envisages EUR 30.6 billion of budget support for Ukraine.
