During his evening address, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that a meeting between Ukraine and the United States was being prepared. The President also held a number of important talks with Western partners during the day.
‘A lot of international work today - I spoke with the prime ministers of the Netherlands, Portugal and Slovenia, and also spoke with the Chancellor of Germany. Thank you for your support. We are preparing for the EU summit that will take place tomorrow in Brussels. Everyone sees how fast the diplomatic events are developing,’ the President emphasised.
The Head of State also emphasised that today the teams of Ukraine and the United States had started working on a new meeting.
‘Andriy Yermak and Michael Volz spoke, there is a positive movement. We hope for the first results next week. We also need to resume our progress in the European direction, in terms of our European integration, namely the clusters in the accession negotiations. We are counting on the support of our partners,’ Zelenskyy added.
