Over the past week, Russia has increased the intensity of its tactical/army air strikes. On average, the Russian military carried out 96 air strikes per day. The maximum intensity from 24 to 30 March was 116 strikes, according to sources in the Defence Forces. For comparison, last week the average daily number of air strikes was 81.

Russia also continues its daily rocket and bomb terror against civilian objects in administrative centres (primarily Kyiv, Kharkiv, Sumy, Odesa, Kryvyy Rih, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhya), critical and military infrastructure, in particular to undermine the socio-political situation and to exert demoralising information pressure on the civilian population. The enemy focused its attacks mainly on administrative centres, industrial facilities, and transport infrastructure.

It was also noted that in the Pokrovsk sector, the intensity of the Russian assault operations increased again after a relative lull. In early March, the intensity of the Russia's offensive decreased by about half compared to February and by almost four times compared to January. However, in the second half of March, according to the statistics of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the intensity increased and is more than half of what it was in January.
