KCMA: one of most massive combined attacks on Kyiv took place at night (update)

Update. According to the mayor of Kyiv, three people were hospitalised as a result of the Russian attack. Two of them remain in hospital.

A total of 14 Kyiv residents were injured. They were injured in Dniprovskyy, Svyatoshynskyy and Obolonskyy districts. 11 of them were treated on the spot.

On the night of 24 May, Russia attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles and attack drones. As a result of Russian strikes, 6 districts of Kyiv were damaged.

The situation as of 8:00 a.m. on 24 May was reported by the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko.

"A difficult night for all of us. One of the most massive combined attacks on the capital. The enemy is improving its own tactics of using drones, while simultaneously using ballistic missiles," he said in a statement.

In Holosiyivskyy district, the wreckage of a downed drone fell in several locations. A person was injured and five cars were damaged.

In Svyatoshynskyy district, non-residential infrastructure was damaged in several locations. The fire has been contained, and individual fires are being extinguished. There is no information about the victims.

In Solomyanskyy district, a fire broke out on 4, 5 floors of a building. 7 people were injured and 1 rescued. A headquarters was set up at 14 Vitaliy Skakun Street.

A fire broke out in a non-residential building in Shevchenkivskyy district. The fire was contained.

In Dniprovskyy district, debris damaged an apartment on the 3rd floor of a multi-storey building. As of now, two people have been reported injured.

In Obolonskyy district, damage was reported in at least 4 locations. Debris landed in the open in several places. A shopping mall was damaged, but no fire broke out. In addition, the drone damaged a number of apartments on the 3rd-6th floors of the high-rise building. Five people were injured and two more were rescued. The fire has been extinguished.

‘An operational headquarters has been set up at 32B Obolonskyy Avenue. All the victims are being provided with help and food,’ says Tkachenko.
