President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the Russian army had launched 315 drones and seven missiles across Ukrainian territory today.
“Russia’s missile and shakedown attacks speak louder than the efforts of the United States and others around the world to force Russia towards peace. Every night, instead of a ceasefire, there are massive strikes involving Shaheds, cruise missiles and ballistic missiles,” the Ukrainian President wrote on Telegram. He added that today’s assault was among the largest attacks on Kyiv to date. The Regions of Odesa, Dnipro and Chernihiv were also targeted.
Zelenskyy noted that the total number of drones used by Russia amounted to 315 – 250 of which were Shaheds – alongside seven missiles, including two North Korean-made ballistic missiles.
Residential homes and urban infrastructure sustained damage, and a maternity hospital in Odesa was among the sites targeted by Russia. Thirteen people were injured – some of them have died.

The President emphasised the need for an active international response. “It is important that the answer to this and similar Russian attacks is not silence from the world, but concrete action. Action by America, which possesses the power to compel Russia towards peace. Action by Europe, which has no alternative but to show strength. Action from others around the globe who have called for diplomacy and an end to the war – and whom Russia has blatantly ignored. We need firm pressure in the name of peace,” Zelenskyy stressed.
