Residents in the Tambov and Voronezh Regions reported the overnight attack. The Governor of Voronezh Region, Gusev, claims that air defence systems shot down 25 drones and that the falling debris ignited fires in forests and dry grass, as well as caused damage to a gas pipeline, according to the Astra Telegram channel.

In the Tambov Region, the Cheboksary plant Progress – which manufactures Kometa antennas for the Russian army – was damaged. These antennas are used in counter-drone operations.

In total, the Ministry of Defence of the occupying country announced the downing of 49 drones over six Regions.

However, eyewitness footage confirms that a large fire was burning in Cheboksary. The plant has suspended operations.
