Russia has launched another large-scale assault on Ukraine. According to preliminary reports, both drones and missiles were employed in the attack. Thirty-eight objects were damaged, including five apartment buildings, five private houses and ten vehicles, according to police reports.
Kyiv
On Friday night, Russian forces conducted yet another terror attack against civilians in Kyiv, deploying attack drones and ballistic missiles. Three emergency workers were killed and 22 individuals were injured, including nine employees of the State Emergency Service, a subway worker, Kyivgaz technicians, and residents of damaged buildings. An 11-year-old girl was poisoned by combustion products.
According to the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, drones entered the capital from several directions. He reported that debris from downed UAVs fell in the Solomyanskyy and Darnytskyy districts. A fire subsequently broke out on the upper floors of a residential building.
Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko stated that air defence forces had been active in Obolon. In Solomyanskyy and Darnytskyy districts, medical personnel were dispatched to the sites of shelling. In the Holosiyivskyy district, debris struck a building, sparking a fire. Later, the mayor reported an additional incident of falling debris in Holosiyivskyy, and medics were sent to the scene.
Some residents of the capital reported power outages in their homes. Tymur Tkachenko confirmed blackouts on the city’s left bank. He later noted that specialists had succeeded in partially restoring the power supply.

Three of those killed were emergency responders: Pavlo Yezhor, Danylo Skadin and Andriy Remennyy. However, the police reported three fatalities, not four. Thirteen sites were damaged, including residential buildings, an educational institution, a warehouse, a shop, vehicles and subway tracks.
The shelling of the capital led to changes in traffic patterns.
Fires broke out in the Solomyanskyy, Holosiyivskyy and Shevchenkivskyy districts of the capital, while debris fell in the Darnytskyy and Desnyanskyy districts.
A petrol station in the Dniprovskyy district sustained significant damage. Emergency workers remain at the scene.
