This year, Ukraine was represented by the largest delegation in the history of its participation in the Reeperbahn Festival & Conference, one of the largest European music events held annually in Hamburg.

Ukrainian artists KLER and BRYKULETS filled the hall and shared the stage with performers from the United Kingdom and the United States.

The organisers expressed special gratitude to their UK partner, Karousel Music, which helped create an international atmosphere and supported Ukraine’s presence at the festival.

The Ukrainian delegation was also represented by five leading music labelsENKO, Pomitni, Black Beats, Nova Music and Plan. They presented their artists’ catalogues, met with representatives of the global music industry, gained up-to-date knowledge at conference sessions and established new international contacts during professional networking events.

An important venue was the reception for the Ukrainian delegation at the central location of the conference – ARCOTEL Onyx Hamburg. Here, industry representatives from various European countries had the opportunity to communicate directly with their Ukrainian colleagues, discuss opportunities for cooperation, and initiate new partnerships.

Another significant event was the networking session organised jointly with Music Estonia and Hamburg Music, which paved the way for real collaborations between Ukraine, Estonia and Germany.

In the conference part of the festival, Ukrainian experts Alyona Dmukhovska (Music Export Ukraine) and Kateryna Dmytrenko (ENKO) took part in the panel discussion Eastern European Wave: Is the Global Music Industry Finally Paying Attention? They emphasised the importance of strategic thinking, proactive leadership and continuous improvement in building international careers for artists.

The participation of the Ukrainian delegation and showcases was made possible thanks to the support of the European Union within the House of Europe programme in partnership with Music Export Ukraine. Logistical coordination was provided by the Ukrainian Institute
