UNITED24 ambassadors, actors Misha Collins and Katheryn Winnick, have joined a cultural project dedicated to Ukrainian Cinema Day. They dubbed scenes from Serhiy Parajanov’s legendary film Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors into English, according to the organisers.

The project has become a symbol of cultural heritage preservation in times of war. The film, which was first released in Kyiv in 1965, was already an act of resistance against Soviet repression of the Ukrainian intelligentsia at the time.

Katheryn Winnick, who proudly highlights her Ukrainian roots, stressed the importance of supporting and promoting Ukrainian culture worldwide. Misha Collins, known for his many years of supporting Ukraine, together with his colleague, demonstrated that Ukrainian art retains enormous significance and power even in difficult times.

The general partner of the CultHub project is Carpathian Mineral Waters. The company shares LB.ua's belief in the importance of cultural diplomacy and does not interfere with its editorial policy. All project materials are independent and created in accordance with professional standards.
