On 30 August, a sabotage attack took place near the village of Voskresenka in the Zaporizhzhya Region, killing 18 officers of the operational staff of the headquarters of the Russian 35th Combined Arms Army.

This was reported by the project I Want to Live (hotline).

According to sources, unknown persons set fire to dry grass near the command post. The fire quickly spread to the premises and dugouts, and due to heavy smoke and carbon monoxide poisoning, the officers were unable to escape. The bodies of five more Russians could not be evacuated.

The fire completely destroyed part of the command post, making it impossible to rescue and identify individual bodies.
