During the night of 23 April, the Russians launched an attack on Dnipro using drones. Around a dozen UAVs approached the city from the south. As of 08:09, there were reports of 10 people injured and two killed. Four have been hospitalised with moderate injuries. Among them are two children – girls aged 9 and 14.

According to information from the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Hanzha, residential buildings in various parts of the city were damaged. A fire broke out in one of the high-rise blocks following a direct hit. A 13-storey block of flats, a shop, a car, an administrative building and an unused building were damaged.

In total, the Russians attacked three districts of the region. In the Nikopol district, the Nikopol, Myrivska, Marhanetska, Pokrovska and Chervonohryhorivska communities were targeted. Infrastructure, a private house and a garage were damaged. A 64-year-old woman was injured. A fire broke out in Kryvyy Rih. Infrastructure was damaged.

Forty drones were shot down over the region.

  • On the morning of 22 April, the Russians also shelled Dnipro, damaging residential buildings and cars.
