Three people were injured as a result of the morning strike on Slovyansk. This was reported on the morning of 21 April by Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration.

He noted that Russian forces had once again dropped a 1.5-tonne aerial bomb on the city centre.

A school has been destroyed, and 15 high-rise buildings, two private houses, three shops, a beauty salon, a pharmacy and a notary’s office have been damaged.

“The strike on the city centre is no mistake. It is a deliberate decision to strike where there is life. It is a systematic attempt to break the city and its people,” Filashkin wrote.

  • Last week, Russian forces struck the centre of Slovyansk with an aerial bomb. Dozens of high-rise buildings were damaged. Russian forces hit a children’s sports centre, which was completely destroyed.
