On the night of 30 April, Odesa was attacked by Russian drones. Infrastructure and residential areas were hit. The Odesa RMA reports 20 people injured, aged 17 to 70.
This was stated by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration (RMA), Serhiy Lysak.
In the morning, Lysak wrote that the heaviest damage was recorded in the Prymorskyy district of the city. A high-rise building and a five-storey residential building were damaged there. Large-scale fires broke out on the upper floors and the roof, which rescuers managed to contain. Private homes and residential buildings in the city centre were also damaged.
A kindergarten was severely destroyed, and a shopping centre, a hotel, and administrative premises were damaged. Dozens of buses and cars were destroyed or damaged at several parking lots.
In the Khadzhibey district, strikes were recorded on infrastructure facilities, warehouse buildings, and a garage cooperative.
Two people are being held in intensive care. One man has been hospitalised in the trauma department. The other victims received the necessary assistance on the spot.
Around 70 pieces of equipment and more than 280 specialists from all emergency and municipal services in the city have been deployed.
Damage to a five-storey building and a private house has been reported. There were also hits on the grounds of a parking lot and an administrative building.
