Influential American blogger Laura Loomer visited the site of a Russian strike on the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra. She was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister for Humanitarian Policy and Minister of Culture Tetyana Berezhna, as well as Serhiy Kyslytsia, Deputy Head of the Office of the President.
Loomer recorded a video from the Dormition Cathedral, whose roof was damaged by a drone strike in June. “Putin attacked Jesus Christ with a drone,” the blogger captioned the clip.

Loomer presents herself as an investigative journalist. On X alone, she has 1.9 million followers. For years, Loomer opposed support for Ukraine and expressed sympathy for Russia, but this year she admitted she had become a victim of Russian propaganda.
On 20 July, the blogger arrived in Kyiv.
“For those who asked: no, the Ukrainian government did not pay for my trip. For those who watch my shows: you will see that I led the fight against the Woke Reich (an ideology that began as a fight against discrimination but became a radical movement. – Ed.) and its attempts to destroy the Trump movement in America, while they spread toxic propaganda,” she wrote.
The American thanked Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture of Ukraine Tetiana Berezhna for organising the visit to the Lavra.
“Tetyana Berezhna told me she gave birth in a bomb shelter seven months ago because the Russians attacked Kyiv. I was able to see up close how Russia attacks Christianity while at the Lavra—amid incredible architecture, art, and historic religious treasures,” Laura Loomer said.
