Finnish President Alexander Stubb reported a phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, during which the two discussed Russia’s war against Ukraine and the next steps on the path to peace.
Stubb wrote about it on the social network X.
According to the Finnish president, Ukraine’s position is now stronger than at any time since the start of the full-scale war.
“I had a good phone call with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. We discussed Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine and the way forward,” Stubb noted.
He stressed that continued support from international partners remains critically important to maintain the current momentum.
“Ukraine’s position is stronger than ever since the war began. Continued support from partners is critical to keep up the pace,” the Finnish president said.
Stubb also underscored that Ukraine is ready for peace.
