On the night of 10 August, drones struck various regions of Russia, occupied Crimea, and Makiyivka. In Sevastopol, vacationers had to be evacuated from a campsite on Inzhyr Beach, ASTRA reports. The so-called head of Crimea said 15 drones were shot down and there were no casualties. Debris sparked a forest fire.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported that 13 drones flying toward the Russian capital were shot down. In Tatarstan, officials complained about a large number of UAVs.
There, according to ASTRA’s OSINT analysis, the target may have been Nizhnekamskneftekhim, one of Europe’s largest petrochemical complexes. It processes feedstock and produces plastics, ethylene, and synthetic rubbers.
According to Exilenova+, an oil refinery in Nizhnekamsk was hit.
The operational headquarters claim there is one fatality in the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka in Russia’s Belgorod Region.
