The Suomifornia film festival, taking place in Helsinki on 1–2 October, will screen the documentary film «Landing» by director Dmytro Ptashko.

The film was shot from December 2024 to April 2025 in Okhtyrka, in the Sumy region. It tells the story of local skaters, artists, volunteers and parents who are creating a skate and cultural space, built from scratch with their own hands.

«Together they gather materials, build ramps, set shared rules and learn to make decisions about public space. In a city living with the physical and emotional consequences of war, the skatepark provides routine, responsibility and a place where anxiety can be eased,» the description of the screening announcement says on the festival’s page
