Today, 8 September, Russian forces killed two and wounded eight residents of Dnipropetrovsk Region.
The regional prosecutor’s office reported this.
“On 8 September 2026, as a result of shelling of the Nikopol area by Russian troops using artillery and drones, two people were killed and a further six were injured,” they said.
Homes and a nursery school were damaged.
In Dnipro, an enemy attack damaged warehouse premises, and a woman was injured there.
In the Kryvyi Rih area, a woman was injured as a result of an FPV drone strike. A private house and cars were damaged.
Under the procedural supervision of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office, criminal proceedings have been opened into alleged war crimes under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
