This was reported by Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who is on a visit to the country.
“Today we are talking about the winter support package, and energy. This is very important. Today there is a significant decision by Canada. A very important aid package for air defence. There is a major shortage of such systems and the missiles for them in the world. And we are grateful for this support,” the President said.
- Zelenskyy is holding talks with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.
- It was previously reported that one of the main topics of the talks would be support for Ukraine in protecting its skies and preparations for the winter period. Zelenskyy noted that the sides will also discuss strengthening Ukraine’s resilience, supporting the population, and ensuring the necessary capabilities for defence.
