The Ukrainian defence company JET has unveiled the W100 strike drone, designed to engage targets at distances of up to 100 kilometres. The company told Defender Media about the drone.
According to the manufacturer, the W100 can reach speeds of up to 150 km/h and remain airborne for up to 75 minutes. The drone can carry a warhead weighing up to 4 kg. For surveillance and guidance, it is equipped with a camera with day and night modes. The W100 is launched using a pneumatic catapult.
The manufacturer also offers different versions of the drone depending on the type of communications link. Available options include a secure radio link and satellite communications. A separate option allows the drone to be remotely controlled via a satellite network.
JET said the W100 has already completed the required tests and has been used in combat. The units operating the drone have not been disclosed. The W100 is expected to become available on the Brave1 Market and DOT-Chain Defence marketplaces in the near future. The indicative price of one drone will start at UAH 200,000. It will also be sold as part of an unmanned aerial system.
Mid-strike refers to a class of medium-range strike drones and operations to engage targets at operational depth, typically 30 to 200–300 km from the frontline.
JET develops a wide range of unmanned systems, including FPV drones with radio and fibre-optic control, bombers, fixed-wing drones and interceptor drones. The company’s products also include the Aluston naval drone. JET was registered in 2023. According to YouControl, its revenue that year amounted to UAH 56 million, rising to UAH 672 million in 2024. The company now has around 5,000 square metres of production facilities and about 1,000 employees.
The growing role of drones with automatic terminal guidance is also reflected in data from the Brave1 defence cluster. Since the beginning of 2026, the number of enemy targets hit using AI-guided technologies has increased tenfold.
