The Dutch government plans to allocate a further €327m for Ukraine’s recovery and reconstruction over 2027–2029.
The relevant initiatives are set out in the country’s draft budgets for foreign affairs and foreign trade, which have already been presented to parliament, European Pravda reports.
These funds will supplement the previously earmarked €878m in non-military support for the same period. The financing will be directed towards repairing the energy system, restoring critical infrastructure, humanitarian needs, and supporting Ukraine’s private sector.
Dutch officials confirmed their intention to continue providing Ukraine with steadfast political, military, and financial assistance in its fight against Russian aggression. The Netherlands’ Foreign Minister, Thomas Berendsen, stressed that supporting Ukraine remains one of the key priorities for strengthening the security of Europe as a whole.
