On 15 September and overnight into 16 September, units of Ukraine’s Defence Forces struck a number of military facilities used by Russian troops, including a Su-24 aircraft, a storage and launch site for attack drones, UAV control points and ammunition depots.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.
At the airfield in Saky in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea, Ukrainian forces hit a Russian Su-24 aircraft. The extent of the damage is still being assessed.
In the Donetsk area, they struck a facility where Russian forces were storing, preparing and launching attack drones. In addition, Ukrainian forces hit UAV control points used by the occupying troops. The facilities are in Staromlynivka and Pokrovsk in Donetsk region, as well as in Pokrovske in Zaporizhzhya Region.
In Dovzhansk, Luhansk Region, an ammunition depot belonging to Russian forces was hit. The Defence Forces also struck storage bases for fuel and lubricants in Rovenky in Luhansk Region and Berdyansk in Zaporizhzhya Region.
In the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea, in Suvorove and Rysove, posts of the Grenader technical reconnaissance system were hit.
