On the morning of 25 September, Russian forces attacked Zaporizhzhya. A fire broke out at a medical centre and ambulances were damaged. There are casualties.
This was reported in a statement by Ivan Fedorov, co-chair of the Zaporizhzhya Region Defence Council, and by the State Emergency Service.
As a result of strikes by Russian drones, the medical centre building was damaged. There is destruction and a fire broke out. One person sustained minor injuries, Fedorov wrote earlier. According to rescuers, two people were injured.
Update. Rescuers, together with staff, evacuated seven patients from the floors, including people with limited mobility, and extinguished the fire in one of the wards. High-rise buildings, garages and vehicles at other addresses were also damaged. All emergency services were working at the scenes, the State Emergency Service wrote.
The enemy also struck emergency medical vehicles; there were no casualties.
Non-residential buildings and vehicles in a garage cooperative were damaged, and windows were blown out in a residential building.
Over the past day, the Russians carried out 699 strikes on 45 settlements in the region.
Russian forces carried out 23 air strikes on Novomykolaivka, Zarichne, Yurkivka, Yasna Poliana, Tavriiske, Novorozivka, Zhovtenke, Zapasne, Orikhiv, Preobrazhenka, Charivne, Shyroke, Vozdvyzhivka, Lisne, Vasynivka, Mykilske and Soniachne.
528 UAVs of various types (mostly FPV) attacked Zaporizhzhia, Balabyne, Novoiakivlivka, Novoselivka, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Pavlivka, Lukianivske, Orikhiv, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohiria, Kopani, Huliaipilske, Vozdvyzhivka, Hirke, Dobropillia, Pryluky, Staroukrainka, Sviatopetrivka, Tsvitkove, Preobrazhenka, Novopavlivka, Kosivtseve, Nove Zaporizhzhia, Verkhna Tersa and Ternuvate.
Three MLRS attacks were recorded on Novoiakivlivka, Novoselivka and Charivne.
145 artillery strikes hit Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Pavlivka, Lukianivske, Zaliznychne, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohiria, Preobrazhenka, Sviatopetrivka, Dobropillia, Pryluky, Tsvitkove, Huliaipilske, Staroukrainka and Nove Zaporizhzhia.
A total of 67 reports were received about damage to infrastructure, homes and vehicles.
