On the night of 1 October, Russia launched 107 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types. Air defences neutralised 87 of them. Strikes were recorded at 11 locations, and falling debris at four sites.
This was reported by the Air Force.
The statement says that on the night of 1 October, starting from 18:00, the enemy attacked with 107 Shahed-type strike UAVs, Gerbera drones, and Parodiya decoy drones from the following directions: Oryol, Millerovo, Bryansk, Shatalovo (Russian Federation), the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk Region, and the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea – Hvardiyske. Sixty-three drones were jet-powered.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defence Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defence shot down and suppressed 87 Russian Shahed-type UAVs, Gerbera drones and drones of other types.
As of this morning, the attack is ongoing, with several Russian UAVs in the airspace.
