The 1,684th day of Russia’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. Over the past day, 204 combat clashes were recorded on the front line.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Over the past day, Russian forces carried out 65 air strikes, including dropping 233 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the occupiers deployed 9,090 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,465 attacks on populated areas and positions of Ukrainian troops.
In Sumy Region, Ulanove, Mala Korchakivka, Sadky, Pysarivka, Ivolzhanske, Tovstodubove, Vilna Sloboda, Mohrytsia and Khrapivshchyna came under artillery fire. Air strikes hit areas around Sumy and Vakalivshchyna.
Over the past day, aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defence Forces struck one UAV control point and one enemy command post.
In the North Slobozhanshchyna sector, Russian forces attacked four times in the areas of Sadky, Ryzhivka and Korenok.
In the South Slobozhanshchyna sector, Ukrainian units repelled 13 attacks. The occupiers tried to advance in the areas of Dovhenke, Lyman, Radkivka, Zakharivka, Rybalchyne, Ivashchyne, Dovzhanka and Chuhunivka.
In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy attacked four times in the areas of Kivsharivka, Kupiansk and Novoosynove.
In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled nine attacks in the areas of Novoselivka, Karpivka, Novyi Myr, Lyman and Dibrova.
In the Sloviansk sector, Russian forces carried out seven attacks in the areas of Mykolaivka, Ozerne, Kryva Luka and Yampil.
In the Kramatorsk sector, Ukrainian troops repelled two enemy attacks in the areas of Yurkivka and Fedorivka.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, 16 attacks were recorded. The occupiers conducted assault operations in the areas of Raiske, Kostiantynivka, Novoselivka, Kindrativka and Ivanopillia.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped 31 attacks in the areas of Serhiivka, Molodetske and towards Vilne, Kucheriv Yar, Nove Shakhove, Hannivka, Dobropillia, Novyi Donbas, Chernihivka, Svitle, Bilytske and Novohryshyne.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy carried out three attacks towards Ternove.
In the Huliaipole sector, Ukrainian troops repelled five attacks by the invaders in the areas of Huliaipilske, Hirke, Vozdvyzhivka and Shyroke.
In the Orikhiv and Dnipro River sectors, the occupiers did not conduct active offensive operations over the past day.
In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, the situation remains largely unchanged. No signs of Russian forces forming offensive groupings were detected.
- Overall, over the past day Russian invaders’ losses amounted to 1,750 personnel. Also neutralised were six armoured combat vehicles, 49 artillery systems, one multiple-launch rocket system, three air defence assets, 13 ground robotic systems, 1,742 unmanned aerial vehicles, 527 vehicles and five units of the enemy’s specialised equipment.
