Ukraine continues to restore medical infrastructure damaged as a result of the war.
This was reported by the Ministry of Health.
As of 1 October 2026, damage to or destruction of 2,698 facilities has been confirmed, forming part of 849 healthcare institutions. In particular, 340 facilities have been completely destroyed.
The greatest damage has been recorded at healthcare facilities in the Kharkiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Mykolaiv and Kyiv regions.
So far, 752 facilities have been fully restored, and a further 311 have been partially restored. At the same time, 95 facilities that had been fully restored later suffered repeat damage.
At present, operations are being carried out at 1,649 facilities; a further 186 facilities are operating partially, and 241 facilities have been evacuated to another location.
In addition, since the start of the full-scale invasion, 354 emergency medical service vehicles have been destroyed, a further 236 vehicles have been damaged, and 80 have been seized by the enemy.
