The Pryluky City Territorial Community has declared three days of mourning following the deaths caused by a Russian attack on 7 October.
This was reported by the Pryluky City Council.
The days of mourning will run on 7, 8 and 9 October.
The city council expressed condolences to the families and loved ones of those killed and wished the injured a swift recovery.
"Today, the entire Pryluky community bows its head in deep sorrow. We share the pain of those who have lost their dearest," the statement said.
- As a result of the Russian attack on Pryluky, 16 people are currently known to have been killed and a further 55 injured, including seven children. Fifteen apartment blocks and 16 private houses were damaged. Search-and-rescue operations are ongoing.
- The attack also damaged a medium-pressure gas pipeline. As a result, more than 18,000 city residents have been temporarily left without gas supply.
