Deputy Secretary of Ukraine’s National Security and Defence Council, Davyd Aloian, met with representatives of the US Embassy. The parties discussed co-operation between defence companies, Ukraine’s participation in US defence programmes and improving arms export procedures.

Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine, Davyd Aloian, held a meeting with the head of the Export Control and Border Security (EXBS) programme.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of Ukrainian-American co-operation in the defence-industrial complex, preparations for the Drone Deal agreement between Ukraine and the United States, as well as creating conditions for interaction between the two countries’ defence companies.
Particular attention was paid to developing exports of Ukrainian weaponry. Davyd Aloian briefed the American partners on the priorities of the Interagency Commission on Military-Technical Co-operation and improving export procedures.
He also noted the participation of Ukrainian companies in US Department of Defense programmes, including Drone Dominance.
"This takes the partnership between our countries to a new level. We are grateful to the United States for its trust. For its part, Ukraine is interested in developing a mutually beneficial partnership both at the state level and among defence companies," Aloian said.
The NSDC stressed that it continues to work with international partners to expand defence-industrial partnerships, attract investment and strengthen the capabilities of Ukraine’s Defence Forces.
