Russia is attacking energy infrastructure and facilities that supply power to Kyiv and the central regions almost continuously. As a result of the strikes, several sites have suffered significant damage and destruction. Additional resources are being brought in to restore them as quickly as possible.
This was reported by Prime Minister Serhii Koretskyi.
According to him, the government analyses every day how the protection of energy facilities has performed and determines what can be improved promptly. The main task is to restore the damaged infrastructure as quickly as possible.
Repair teams are working around the clock, in some places even during air-raid alerts. At the same time, Russia continues to launch jet-powered attack drones, trying to hinder rapid repair work.
"Today, at the regular conference call, there was a detailed briefing to the President on the situation. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Energy, with active support from the Office of the President’s team, are in constant dialogue with partners to secure the necessary assistance now for the fastest possible restoration," the Prime Minister says.
Separately, the government is working through the situation in Kyiv. After the latest events, conclusions must be drawn about how life-support systems are operating and how replacement transport services are organised.
