On the night of 10 October, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 160 strike drones of various types. Of these, 110 were jet-powered.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The air attack was repelled by aircraft, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, as well as mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s Defence Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 09:00 air defences shot down or suppressed 117 enemy drones, including 82–jet-powered ones.
At the same time, impacts from Russian aerial attack assets were recorded at 14 locations. At ten locations, debris from downed drones fell.
“The attack is ongoing; several enemy UAVs remain in the airspace. Follow safety rules!”, the statement said.
