Day 1,690 of Russia’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. In total, over the past 24 hours 218 combat engagements were recorded, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports.
Yesterday, the enemy carried out one missile strike and 88 air strikes, including dropping 282 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the invaders used 9,389 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,471 attacks on populated areas and the positions of our troops.
In Sumy Region, the settlements of Ulanove, Pysarivka, Bachivsk and Tovstodubove came under enemy artillery fire.
In the North Slobozhanshchyna sector, the invaders attacked eight times in the areas of Tovstodubove, Mala Slobidka, Bachivsk, Doroshivka, Bunyachyne and Mala Rybytsia.
In the South Slobozhanshchyna sector, Ukrainian units repelled 18 enemy attacks. The occupiers tried to advance in the areas of Buhaivka, Izbytske, Hrafske, Vovchansk, Varvarivka and Vodiane.
In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy attacked twice in the areas of Novoplatonivka and Kolisnykivka.
Eight enemy attempts to advance were stopped in the Lyman sector in the areas of Novoserhiivka, Novomykhailivka, Lyman and Novoselivka.
In the Sloviansk sector, the enemy carried out one attack in the area of Ozerne.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy did not conduct assault operations over the past day.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, 16 attacks were recorded. The occupiers conducted assault operations in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Druzhkivka, Novoselivka, Illinivka and Mykolaipillia.
In the Pokrovsk sector, our defenders stopped 22 attacks. The enemy concentrated its main efforts in the areas of Serhiivka, Molodetske and Novopavlivka, and also carried out assaults towards Hannivka, Volodymyrivka, Vilne, Dobropillia, Rodynske, Bilytske, Novyi Donbas, Krasnopillia, Dorozhnie, Myrne and Vasylivka.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy did not conduct active offensive operations.
In the Huliaipole sector, twelve attacks by the invaders were repelled in the areas of Kosivtseve, Rizdvianka and Shyroke.
In the Orikhiv sector, our defenders repelled one enemy attack in the area of Prymorske.
In the Dnipro sector, no active enemy operations were recorded.
In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, the situation remains largely unchanged. No signs of the enemy forming offensive groupings have been detected.
- Overall, over the past day the losses of the Russian invaders amounted to 1,420 personnel. Four tanks, six armoured combat vehicles, 50 artillery systems, two multiple-launch rocket systems, six air defence assets, nine ground robotic systems, 1,591 unmanned aerial vehicles, 534 vehicles and two units of special equipment were also neutralised.
