Overnight on 10 October, Russian forces attacked Ivano-Frankivsk five times. Air defence units were operating during the aerial threat.
This was reported by Svitlana Onyshchuk, head of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Military Administration.
"Overnight, the enemy attacked Ivano-Frankivsk five times. Air defence forces were operating," the statement said.
The head of the Regional Military Administration thanked Ukrainian service personnel who defended the skies during the attack. Residents are urged to follow safety rules: if, after the attack, they find drone debris or other suspicious objects, they must not approach them, touch them, or move them.
They should move to a safe distance and report it to the emergency services on 101 or 102.
