In Sloviansk, Donetsk region, Russian forces launched a second drone attack on firefighters as they were putting out fires. This was reported by Ukraine’s State Emergency Service.
As a result of shelling in a residential area, a woman was injured and 44 homes were damaged. Fires broke out at three locations.
While the blazes were being brought under control, the Russians attacked the firefighters with a drone. The strike damaged a fire engine. No personnel were injured.
Despite the danger, firefighters extinguished all the fires.
- Russian forces shelled the settlement of Cherkaske in Kramatorsk district. The attack killed three members of one family, including a 13-year-old child. Four more people were injured.
