Russian forces attacked a shop in the Odesa Region with a jet-powered Shahed-type drone. Three people were injured in the strike; the shop building was partially destroyed and vehicles were also damaged.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported this.
Emergency services are working at the scene of the attack, and assistance is being provided to the injured.
Zelenskyy stressed the need for continued support for Ukraine from international partners to protect against Russian attacks. Residential buildings, shops, energy facilities and other critical infrastructure are under constant strikes.
The President also criticised signals from the United States and other partners about a possible easing of sanctions against Russia. He emphasised that there are no grounds for lifting the restrictions, as Russia continues its war against Ukraine.
"Sanctions for aggression against Ukraine, for the war against us. Nothing has changed, the war has not stopped. Sanctions must not be lifted," Zelenskyy said.
He added that Russia must end the war, and that to protect Ukraine it is necessary to increase pressure on the aggressor.
