Day 1,697 of Russia’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. Overall, 238 combat clashes took place over the past day.

According to updated information, yesterday the enemy carried out 71 air strikes and dropped 261 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it used 7,433 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,699 attacks on populated areas and the positions of our troops.
In Sumy region, enemy artillery fire hit the settlements of Ulanove, Fotovyzh, Sadky, Mala Korchakivka, Rudenok, Tovstodubove, Volfyne, Neskuchne and Khrapivshchyna. In addition, the enemy carried out an air strike in the area of the settlement of Buvalyne.
Over the past day, aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defence Forces struck one area where enemy personnel were concentrated and one enemy unmanned aerial vehicle control point.
In the North Slobozhanskyi direction, 12 combat clashes took place in the areas of Novodmytrivka, Tovstodubove, Mala Slobidka, Bunyachyne, Doroshivka, Neskuchne, Shpyl, Hrafske, Sadky and Mohrytsia.
Over the day, in the South Slobozhanskyi direction, 25 combat clashes were recorded near Starytsia, Mala Vovcha, Chuhunivka and Radkivka.
In the Kupiansk direction, the Defence Forces repelled one attempt by the invaders to advance in the area of Kupiansk.
In the Lyman direction, our units prevented the enemy from advancing in the areas of Lyman, Zarichne and Dibrova, stopping five attacks.
Six attacks by the occupiers were repelled in the Sloviansk direction in the areas of Ozerne, Pyskunivka, Kryva Luka and Mykolaivka.
Our defenders successfully repelled one enemy assault in the Kramatorsk direction in the area of Dibrova.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, 18 combat clashes were recorded in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Dovha Balka, Druzhkivka, Novoselivka, Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka, Mykolaipillia and Novopavlivka.
In total, 30 attacks were repelled in the Pokrovsk direction. The occupiers tried to advance in the areas of the settlements of Toretske, Hruzke, Vilne, Kucheriv Yar, Svitle, Dobropillia, Serhiivka, Molodetske, Novopavlivka and Marivka.
Two enemy attacks were repelled in the Oleksandrivka direction in the areas of Zaporizke and Komyshuvakha.
In the Huliaipole direction, 13 enemy attacks took place over the past day in the areas of the settlements of Vozdvyzhivka, Rivne, Andriivka, Kopani, Charivne and Yehorivka.
In the Orikhiv direction, the Defence Forces repelled seven attempts by the invaders to push forward in the areas of Novoiakovlivka, Mala Tokmachka, Pavlivka, Stepnohirsk and Plavni.
In the Prydniprovske direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations.
Overall, over the past day, losses among the Russian invaders amounted to 1,950 personnel. Also neutralised were one tank, two armoured combat vehicles, 24 artillery systems, four multiple launch rocket systems, two air defence assets, four ground robotic systems, 1,396 unmanned aerial vehicles, 329 vehicles and two units of specialised equipment.
