The 1,706th day of the Russian Federation’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. In total, 177 combat clashes were recorded over the past day. The heaviest fighting took place on the Pokrovsk sector of the front.
As the General Staff notes, Ukrainian defenders continue the systematic destruction of the enemy, put up effective resistance along the entire front line and inflict significant losses on the occupiers.
Yesterday, enemy aircraft carried out 64 air strikes, including dropping 224 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the invaders used 9,296 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,451 strikes on populated areas and our troops’ positions.
The settlements of Mala Korchakivka, Tovstodubove, Sopich, Korenok, Luzhky, Studenok, Pysarivka, Potapivka and Nova Sich in Sumy region came under artillery fire. In Chernihiv region, Kliusy, Kamin and Mykolaivka were shelled. In addition, air strikes hit areas around the settlements of Ivolzhanske, Hnylytsia, Pustohorod and Luzhky in Sumy region.
Over the past day, aircraft, missile troops and artillery of the Defence Forces struck an enemy troop concentration area, an artillery system and one command post for unmanned aerial vehicles.
On the Northern Slobozhanshchyna axis the invaders attacked three times in the areas of Bachivsk, Boiaro-Lezhachi and Oleksiivka.
On the Southern Slobozhanshchyna axis Ukrainian units repelled eight enemy attacks. The occupiers tried to advance in the areas of Radkivka, Bochkovе, Okhrimivka and Zakharivka.
On the Kupiansk axis the enemy did not conduct assault operations over the past day.
Attempts to advance were halted on the Lyman axis, where our defenders repelled eight attacks in the areas of Stepove, Zelena Dolyna, Kolodiazi, Stavky, Lyman and Zarichne.
On the Sloviansk axis the enemy did not conduct active offensive operations.
On the Kramatorsk axis our troops repelled one enemy attack in the area of Malynivka.
On the Kostiantynivka axis 12 attacks were recorded. The occupiers conducted assault operations in the areas of Raiske, Mykolaipillia, Dovha Balka, Kostiantynivka, Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka and Novoselivka.
On the Pokrovsk axis our defenders stopped 36 attacks. The enemy attacked in the areas of Serhiivka and Molodetske, and also carried out assaults towards Nadiia, Novopavlivka, Sofiivka, Vilne, Kucherovyi Yar, Hannivka, Novyi Donbas, Chernihivka, Krasnopillia and Hulove.
On the Oleksandrivka axis the enemy did not conduct active offensive operations.
On the Huliaipole axis 13 invader attacks were repelled in the areas of Uspishne, Rizdvianka, Dolynka, Hirke and Yehorivka.
On the Orikhiv and Dnipro axes the occupiers did not conduct active operations over the past day.
On the Volyn and Polissia axes the situation remains largely unchanged. No signs of the enemy forming offensive groupings were detected.
- Overall, over the past day the losses of the Russian invaders amounted to 1,990 personnel. One tank, four armoured combat vehicles, 18 artillery systems, two multiple launch rocket systems, one air defence asset, one ground-based robotic complex, 1,656 unmanned aerial vehicles, 322 vehicles and two units of special equipment were also destroyed.
